Cancellation Policy & Terms
Clear, transparent cancellation guidelines in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket), the Swedish Distance Contracts Act, and EuroElite Academy standards.
Overview & Fair Booking Commitment
EuroElite operates high-performance camps and international tournament tours with small player-to-coach ratios (typically 3:1 to 4:1) and pre-booked facilities, courts, and accommodation. When a spot is reserved, substantial costs and administrative planning are committed well in advance. Our cancellation terms are designed to be fair, legally compliant with Swedish consumer regulations, and transparent for all families across Scandinavia. We offer no refunds with the exception of major injuries, quitting tennis entirely or moving out of the geographical area. Any remaining funds are given to the YERKO MULLER FOUNDATION to help talented but economically challenged players get on the International tour.
Other considerations
Upon sign up we have an agreement that your player will continue his year membership regardless of "feelings". Competitive players sometimes need "breaks" and we respect that however a commitment is a commitment and we expect parents to teach their sons this important life skill.
2. Early Cancellations & Administrative Fee
According to the Swedish Consumer Agency guidelines and established Swedish practice, the following terms apply when cancellation occurs outside the 14-day statutory window but well in advance of the camp/tour start date: Administrative Fee: The organizer has the legal right to charge a reasonable administrative fee (typically between 350 SEK and 500 SEK, or 10-35% of the camp fee) to cover incurred banking, registration processing, and administrative handling costs. Economic Damage Offset: If a purchased training service is cancelled, the organizer retains the right to offset actual economic damages and non-recoverable outlays incurred in securing the spot.
3. Late Cancellations & Locked-In Expenses

The closer to the event start date a cancellation occurs, the more difficult it is to find a replacement tournament player from the waitlist.

In accordance with the Swedish Consumer Services Act (Konsumenttjänstlagen — Avbeställning av vara eller tjänst):

If a cancellation occurs so close to the event date that the spot cannot be filled by another player, EuroElite retains a fee covering administrative costs plus all locked-in non-recoverable expenses (including pre-paid court hours, contracted coach salaries, coach travel/flights, and booked player accommodation/meals).

If a replacement player can be arranged from the official waitlist, only the standard administrative processing fee (150–500 SEK) will apply.

4. Illness, Injury & Medical Certificates (Läkarintyg)

We understand that competitive athletes can suffer unforeseen illness or acute sports injuries prior to an event.

Medical Certificate Policy: If a player cannot participate due to documented medical reasons and provides a valid Medical Certificate (Läkarintyg) from a certified physician prior to the camp start date, EuroElite offers:

A 75% refund of the camp training fee, OR

A 100% training credit transferable to any alternative EuroElite camp within a 24-month (2-year) period.

Note: Non-refundable third-party expenses already disbursed (such as airline tickets, hotel reservations, or tournament entry fees) cannot be refunded by EuroElite and should be claimed through the family’s personal travel/home insurance policy.

5. PRIME+ & Project Membership Commitment Policy

The EuroElite PRIME+ and Basic Membership programs represent an elite, mutual commitment throughout the tennis year (September 1 to September 1). Every year our programs are fully booked with a waiting list of motivated juniors.

No Cash Refunds for Voluntary Quits: We do not issue cash refunds for players who choose to discontinue or quit during the season. We teach players that athletic commitments matter.

Relocation Exception: If a family permanently moves away from Scandinavia, EuroElite will review and consider pro-rata refunds.

24-Month Camp Flexibility: If a player cannot attend their scheduled camp date, funds are not lost — families may reschedule for alternative camps across a 2-year (24-month) window.

Transferability: Parents may transfer or sell their camp spot or remaining deposit to another qualified junior player with the express written consent of EuroElite management.
